Do I need to move my crypto off an exchange first?

Yes. Altitude is self-custodial, which means you'll need your BTC or ETH in a wallet you control, like Rabby, MetaMask, or a Ledger.

If your crypto is still on an exchange, we can walk you through the transfer on the setup call.

What's the best loan-to-value ratio to start with?

Most first-time borrowers start conservative, around 20–25% LTV. This gives you a comfortable margin against price swings while still accessing meaningful liquidity.

We can help you find the right ratio for your situation.

How do I actually get my USDC after borrowing?

Once you borrow, USDC lands in your wallet immediately. From there, you can use it on-chain or off-ramp to your bank account.
